When to choose Letterbot
Choose Letterbot if you need privacy-first email triage, want to keep data off cloud servers, manage multiple IMAP accounts, or want a free solution that works on older hardware.
When to choose something else
If you need a full email client with reply functionality, team collaboration features, or mobile-native email apps — Superhuman or Missive may be a better fit. Letterbot is a filter and notifier, not a replacement email client.
